ITR undercarriage components are conceived, designed and engineered by USCO’s engineering and R&D departments, utilizing the latest CAD systems and in collaboration with partner universities. ITR brand product coverage includes track link assemblies, rollers, sprockets & segments, idlers and track shoes produced in the Asian Manufacturing facilities.

ITR undercarriage product line is entirely managed in-house. Starting with the purchase of raw materials, through component design, component machining, heat treating and throughout the entire assembly process up to and including final inspection.

Engineering And Production

Engineering and R&D departments are located in Italy, South Korea and China. Each manufacturing plant have a specific know-how on the locally produced components while Italian engineering head office coordinates all activities.

ITR TRACK LINK ASSEMBLIES (TLAs) cover a broad range of brands and applications and may be available in different set-ups : UNSEALED, STEEL SEALED , POLYURETHANE SEALED (grease lubricated),  S.A.L.T(sealed and lubricated track) TLAs.

ITR links are forged from Boron Steel that assures excellent wear resistance and a rail hardness ≥ Rockwell C50 with hardness depth 8-12 mm onwards, depending on link size. TRACK BUSHINGS production process aims to obtain tough core strength, maximum surface hardness and wear resistance by combining through hardening and surface induction hardening. PINS production methods are purposely designed to guarantee high core resistance and tenacity in combination with hard wear resistant outer diameter.

All SALT TLAs are equipped with Master Split Link profiled with EDM wire cutting technology. ITR master split links are produced following a USCO patented production process.

SALT or POLYURETHANE SEALED TLAs use different kind of “ALL WEATHER” seal groups following to the application they have been conceived for. Heavy Duty TLA’s have new Seal Groups engineered in order to meet the highest quality standards and perform in tough applications. The shape of the seals and the material composition guarantee the best oil retention and lubrication between pin and bushing.

Roller

ITR Excavator type and Dozer type, track and carrier rollers all specifically engineered for most severe applications and environments.

Full range of sizes and types is provided for all popular brand and models.

The essential characteristics and factor that determine the long term durability of USCO rollers are : Selected materials such as high quality boron steels, high toughness castings and top quality components, deep heat treatment, precise machining, extensive and complete production controls, accurate assembling and lifetime lubrication.

Idler

ITR IDLERS are manufactured using the latest automated design and manufacturing process.

They are produced with selected quality steel alloys and appropriately heat treated to provide remarkable field performance in extreme working environment.

The ITR Idlers are assembled with state–of-the-art seals and bearing design produced following most stringent specifications in the industry. Assembling is performed on assembling lines with automatic oil filling procedure.

ITR IDLERS range include mini-excavators products and mining machines and can be selected in different set ups:

  • IDLER SHELL
  • IDLER with BUSHING or SHAFT
  • IDLER with BRACKET
  • IDLER with YOKE
  • IDLER with TENSION DEVICE

Sprocket & Segments

ITR SPROCKETS and SEGMENTS production is suitable for a broad choice of crawled applications and final drives models from mini to mining machines. Sprockets are manufactured by casting process while segments are producing through forging.

Segments are obtained from hot trimming process machining and though hardening. Segments are commonly used for dozer applications.

Sprockets are cast, machined and heat treated products and generally used for excavators or other machines having the undercarriage working in similar applications.

Track Shoe

ITR TRACK SHOES range combines a selection of items suitable for most of the applications. ITR has strict control over complete manufacturing line starting from profile rolling, holes and slot  punching, through hardening and shot blasting. The different types of track shoes available are:

  • SINGLE, DOUBLE AND TRIPLE GROUSERS SHOES
  • STANDARD & EXTREME SERVICE SHOES
  • SPECIAL SHOES

Track Adjuster

ITR offers complete Track Adjuster Assemblies for use on a wide range of popular excavator applications.

Maintaining proper track tension is critical for receiving satisfactory track life. Adjusters are designed to absorb shock, provide proper track tension and protect idlers and track systems.

ITR Adjusters are engineered to provide excellent service in demanding applications and extreme working conditions. Manufactured to rigid quality standards and inspected to ensure a proper fit and function in the field. The range includes all the popular models of excavators upto 40tonnage class.

Recoil Spring

ITR offers Recoil springs for a wide range of Excavators and Dozers.

The recoil springs included in the Track adjusting assembly helps in maintaining a proper required tension on the track chain assembly.

ITR recoil springs are manufactured at high quality standards thus providing the exact fitment and best desired service in all operating conditions.

Track Guards

Track Guards protect rollers and links from damage and deformation. They are designed primarily for use in high-impact underfoot conditions. They keep out large rock and material preventing the overload to undercarriage to reduce wear and prevent damage.

ITR recommends track guards only when the excavator is being used in rock working conditions (not in normal working condition) as they are specifically designed for this.

The track guards are fabricated using Q435/Q235 material and can be
customised as per the plate thickness requested by customer depending on the application. ITR can provide both “Weld On” and “Bolt On” types.

ITR has in range the track guards for upto 40 tonnage class of all the popular excavator models of Komatsu, Hitachi, Caterpillar, Hyundai, Sumitomo, Kobelco, Daewoo-Doosan, Volvo and others
